有些人不明白，以為環保問題是遙遠的問題。但他們不知道，如果其他生物無法在地球生存，食物鏈崩潰，人類就沒有足夠的糧食，新鮮的空氣可以存活。而其他人類的文化如果消失，人類就無從從不同文化中，尋找最適合人類生活的方式。各地區的文化，是需要透過實踐、交流、歲月的考驗，兼容並蓄的。環保跟戰爭問題，不只是人類的「生存」問題，其實更是「愛」的問題。如果我們懂得愛他人，愛世界、愛其他物種，就不會任意殺害，彼此傷害了。

現在再聽「Earth Song」仍舊有濃厚的哀傷、無助、吶喊。什麼時候，人們才能明白，才能了解，珍惜地球一切的重要呢？
